Pest Free Ahuahu- Great Mercury Island
Ahuahu – Great Mercury Island is on the eastern side of the Coromandel Peninsula. It is a critical site for conservation and has significant cultural and archaeological importance. In 2014 a successful rat and cat eradication occurred on the island making it pest-free. We greatly appreciate your efforts in helping us keep Ahuahu- Great Mercury Island the sanctuary it is, regenerating forest and wildlife.
